Job Description

The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing social media strategies to build brand presence, drive engagement, generate leads, and support business objectives across platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement

    platform-wise social media strategies

    aligned with brand and business goals
  • Create

    monthly/quarterly content calendars

    with clear objectives (engagement, reach, leads, conversions)
  • Identify

    content themes, campaigns, and storytelling angles

    for brand growth
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and video editors to produce high-quality content
  • Oversee posting schedules for platforms such as

    Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube

  • Plan and execute

    festive, product, and performance-driven campaigns

  • Track KPIs like

    engagement rate, reach, follower growth, CTR, and conversions

  • Analyze insights and prepare

    weekly/monthly performance reports

  • Optimize strategy based on data, trends, and platform algorithm updates
  • Coordinate with performance marketing teams for

    boosted posts and paid campaigns

  • Ensure organic and paid strategies complement each other
  • Monitor comments, DMs, and brand mentions
  • Ensure timely responses and escalation of customer issues
  • Maintain brand tone and reputation across platforms
  • Stay updated with

    social media trends, tools, formats, and competitors

  • Identify new growth opportunities like reels, shorts, live sessions, and influencer collaborations


Requirements and skills

  • 2+ years of experience as a marketing specialist or similar role
  • BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and display advertising
  • Proficient in marketing automation tools
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of Canva and WordPress desired
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
