Social Media Marketing Specialist - LinkedIn Growth FocusPosition Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Marketing Specialist with 4+ years of proven experience to lead our LinkedIn presence and drive significant follower growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive LinkedIn strategy to reach 5,000 followers within 12 months while building meaningful engagement and brand authority.

Key ResponsibilitiesLinkedIn Strategy & Growth
  • Develop and implement a data-driven LinkedIn growth strategy to achieve 5,000 followers within 1 year
  • Create and maintain a content calendar specifically optimized for LinkedIn's algorithm and audience behavior
  • Identify and engage with target audiences, industry leaders, and potential customers
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to inform content strategy
Content Creation & Management
  • Produce high-quality, engaging LinkedIn content including posts, articles, videos, and carousel slides
  • Write compelling copy that drives engagement, shares, and follower growth
  • Create visual content using design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) tailored for LinkedIn format
  • Develop thought leadership content that positions our brand as an industry authority
Community Engagement & Networking
  • Actively engage with our LinkedIn community through comments, messages, and relationship building
  • Participate in relevant LinkedIn groups and industry discussions
  • Build strategic partnerships and collaborations with industry influencers
  • Respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions to foster community growth
Analytics & Optimization
  • Track and analyze LinkedIn performance metrics including follower growth, engagement rates, and reach
  • Provide monthly reports with actionable insights and growth recommendations
  • A/B test content formats, posting times, and messaging to optimize performance
  • Use LinkedIn Analytics and third-party tools to measure ROI and campaign effectiveness
Paid LinkedIn Advertising (Bonus)
  • Experience with LinkedIn Ads Manager for sponsored content and lead generation campaigns
  • Ability to manage advertising budgets and optimize for cost-effective follower acquisition
Required QualificationsExperience & Skills
  • 4+ years of social media marketing experience

    with demonstrated LinkedIn growth results
  • Proven track record of growing LinkedIn company pages from 0-5K+ followers
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn's algorithm, best practices, and platform updates
  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to create professional, engaging content
  • Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar)
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and ability to translate data into actionable strategies
Technical Requirements
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Analytics and third-party social media analytics platforms
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
  • Understanding of SEO principles and hashtag strategy
  • Experience with content scheduling and automation tools
