Job Description

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive business objectives across all social media platforms. Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Planning • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals • Research audience preferences and current trends to inform content strategy • Set measurable goals and KPIs for social media campaigns • Create and manage social media content calendars Content Creation & Management • Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, images, video) across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others • Write compelling copy that reflects brand voice and resonates with target audiences • Should be good with graphic designing, Canva, video editing  • Ensure brand consistency across all social media channels Community Management • Monitor, respond to, and engage with audience comments, messages, and mentions and influencers     • Build and nurture online communities around the brand • Handle customer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary • Foster positive relationships with followers and brand advocates Analytics & Reporting • Track and analyze social media metrics and campaign performance • Generate regular reports on reach, engagement, conversion, and ROI • Use data insights to optimize content strategy and improve results • Stay current with social media analytics tools and best practices Advertising & Campaign Management • Plan and execute paid social media campaigns • Manage social media advertising budgets • Collaborate with marketing team on integrated campaigns Industry Monitoring • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms • Monitor competitor activity and industry developments • Identify opportunities for innovation and growth Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field • 2-4 years of experience managing social media for brands or agencies • Proven track record of growing social media presence and engagement • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, etc.) • Should connect with influencers and keep them aligned for postings • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Preferred Qualifications: • Video editing skills • Crisis management experience Skills & Competencies: • Creative thinking and storytelling ability • Strong organizational and project management skills • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects • Data-driven mindset with analytical skills • Adaptability to rapidly changing digital landscape • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills • Understanding of brand management and marketing principles Work Environment: • May require occasional evening or weekend work for campaigns or real-time engagement • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
