The Role

You'll be managing social media strategies across multiple clients in different industries, creating content that actually drives engagement, builds communities, and contributes to real business outcomes.

This isn't about vanity metrics or playing it safe with generic posts. We need someone who understands the algorithm, knows how to tell a brand story, and can turn scrollers into customers.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing social media strategy and execution for multiple Australian clients across various industries
  • Creating engaging content (posts, reels, stories, carousels) that drives measurable results
  • Planning and scheduling content calendars that align with client business goals
  • Monitoring trends and adapting strategies to stay ahead of the curve
  • Analysing performance metrics and optimising campaigns based on data
  • Engaging with communities and managing comments/messages professionally
  • Collaborating with our design and content teams to produce scroll-stopping creative
  • Running paid social campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) and optimising for ROI
  • Presenting performance reports and strategic recommendations to clients

Skills That Matter
  • 2–4 years of proven experience managing social media for multiple brands or clients
  • Deep knowledge of Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms
  • Strong copywriting skills – you know how to hook attention in 3 seconds
  • Experience with social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Understanding of paid social advertising and campaign optimisation
  • Basic design sense (Canva proficiency minimum – Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus)
  • Analytics interpretation – you can read the data and know what action to take
  • Content planning and calendar management across multiple clients
Bonus Points For
  • Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
  • Experience with Australian brands or markets
  • Influencer/partnership campaign management
  • Community management and customer service via social
  • Meme fluency (yes, seriously)
This Role Is NOT For You If:
  • You think posting 3 times a week with stock images is a "strategy"
  • You can't handle managing multiple clients with different brand voices
  • You need someone to tell you what trends to jump on
  • You're only comfortable with one platform or industry
  • You think engagement pods and fake followers are acceptable tactics
  • You can't take feedback or pivot when something isn't working
