Social Media Lead

JOB TITLE: SOCIAL MEDIA LEAD (CLUSTER LEVEL)

We are seeking a seasoned Social Media Lead to elevate our social media practice across the agency’s diverse portfolio. This role demands both strategic vision and operational excellence. You will directly oversee social media output, mentor a team of specialists, set up robust processes, and push the creative boundaries of digital storytelling for our clients.

Creative Oversight & Strategy

·      Review and refine social media content across all client accounts, ensuring aesthetic consistency, strategic alignment, and engagement potential.

·      Set benchmarks for creative excellence and drive high-impact social media activations.

·      Collaborate with Copy, Art, and Motion teams to deliver cohesive and platform-native content.

Team Mentorship & Performance

·      Mentor and train social media specialists, conducting regular reviews and feedback sessions.

·      Provide structured growth plans for team members and foster a culture of creativity, ownership, and innovation.

Process & Workflow Development

·      Establish and optimize workflows for social media strategy, content production, approvals, and reporting.

·      Work with Project Management to ensure timely delivery and cross-functional collaboration.

Trends & Innovation

·      Keep the team updated with emerging trends, algorithms, tools, and platform features.

·      Encourage experimentation and pilot new formats before scaling them across client accounts.

Key Account Involvement & Pitches

·      Directly contribute to marquee accounts with hands-on involvement in social strategy and execution.

·      Collaborate with the leadership team on new business pitches, contributing to the agency's growth.

·      5+ years of experience in social media marketing within a digital/creative agency setup.

·      Proven track record of leading social media teams and managing large brand portfolios.

·      Deep expertise in Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube – both organic and paid strategies.

·      Strong understanding of content production workflows (photo, video, design, reels).

·      Ability to guide platform-first storytelling with a creative and strategic lens.

·      Experience in setting up and improving internal processes for scale.

·      Proficient with analytics tools, content planning tools, and social scheduling platforms.

·      Strong communication skills, leadership acumen, and a collaborative mindset.
