We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead our service operations for construction/heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing service teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, handling breakdown calls, maintaining service quality, and driving service revenue growth.
Experiences - 5 to 10 yrs
Skills Required:-
Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering.
Strong knowledge of construction and heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, forklifts, electrical & diesel vehicles, etc.)
Ability to handle customer complaints professionally and provide effective resolutions.
Ensuring after-sales support aligns with customer satisfaction targets.
Leading and supervising a team of service engineers, technicians, and support staff.
Delegation, monitoring, and performance management of the service team.
Service planning, scheduling, and ensuring minimal downtime. Knowledge of warranty claims, service contracts, and AMC handling. Inventory coordination with parts and store in-charge.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving ability.
Report preparation and MIS submission to management.
Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation through service. Understanding of service profitability and cost management
Responsibilities:-
Managing service team members to meet the company’s goals, including delegating and directing tasks, monitoring the progress of after sales service, and resolving potential issues in the department
Recruit, train, and motivate team members to work with greater efficiency and ensure they feel comfortable in the working environment.
Handling complaints and concerns of clients and customers and creating long-lasting professional relationships.
Assisting with administrative tasks that can include creating and managing invoices, taking orders, and handling inventory.
Keeping a professional voice and manner at all times to represent the company properly.
Developing service procedures, policies, and standards and coming up with new ideas for improving customer service goals and missions
Advising clients or management on recommended equipment servicing and maintenance schedules.
Maintaining strong connections with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.
Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting the department’s results
Keeping track of the industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring that the company complies with all of them and follows innovations and trends.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
