Senior Technical Architect

The Senior Technical Architect is responsible for architecting, designing, development & delivery of robust, resilient, and maintenance friendly solution using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Leads technical design discussions and provides design guidance in areas, including but not limited to, extensions, modifications, customizations, integrations, environment provisioning, etc. Deliver well-thought design solutions and architecture to address complex business problems and mission critical applications.

Responsibilities

2. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, follow development standards and work independently when required and commitment to team collaboration.
3. Elicit the UI and functional requirement requirements from the business /functional analysts, consultants, architects, testers and other stakeholders
4. Provide significant contribution to enhance the experiences & quality of the solutions while following established architectural guidelines for Dynamics 365 F&O and its modules.
5. Review the technical deliverables throughout the development cycle to ensure quality and requirements traceability. Ensure internal development guidelines are understood and applied by the development team.
6. Creative, problem solver and forward our technology offerings to meet the futuristic business needs of our customers.
7. Strong debugging skills and the proven ability to quickly understand other developers’ code.
8. Write clean well thought-out code with an emphasis on quality and maintainability.
9. Follow automated Test Driven Development practices including continual integration
10. Apply design patterns in code components following the software engineering best practices

Qualifications

1. 12+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations in the following technical areas:

• X++ development
• Extension approach to customization versus over layering
• Data Management Framework
• Synchronous and Asynchronous integration patterns
• Role-based security design and customization
• Extensible Data Security
• Code build and deployment via DevOps Lifecycle Services
• SSRS reports development

1. Good functional understanding of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations

• Finance modules - GL, AP, AR, Bank & Fixed Assets
• Project Management and Accounting
• Optional, Supply Chain Modules - Inventory, Procurement sourcing etc.

1. Excellent knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations licensing model
2. Experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations integration with external systems
3. Demonstrated experience of how Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations product is customized and configured for an ISV
4. Exposure to Power Platform including Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate
5. Excellent knowledge of LCS (Life Cycle Services) and Azure DevOps including release cadence, monthly updates and service packs
