Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and execution of test strategies across complex projects and product lines.
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and automation suites for web, mobile, and backend applications.
Drive root cause analysis and resolution of complex software defects in collaboration with development and product teams.
Define quality benchmarks and ensure adherence to quality engineering best practices across the team.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers; provide code and test case reviews, coaching, and technical leadership.
Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Own the test lifecycle and contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and release readiness assessments.
Represent QA in sprint planning, design reviews, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring testability and quality from the ground up.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing or QA roles, preferably within SaaS or enterprise technology environments.
Proven experience with test planning, automation, and managing end-to-end quality for complex applications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across engineering and business teams.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, or TestNG.
Experience with performance, security, and API testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Skilled in using issue tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
Demonstrated experience in agile environments and working closely with cross-functional teams.
