We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with 2 to 8 years of experience in both manual and automation testing, with hands-on expertise in Selenium (Java or Python) and exposure to Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools. You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality of our applications through well-designed test cases, effective test planning, and automation strategies. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automation using Selenium with Java, Cucumber (BDD), and TestNG to streamline testing processes. Automate functional, regression, and UI test cases to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Conduct API testing using Postman and validate REST endpoints for data integrity. Perform mobile application testing (Android & iOS) and automate test cases for mobile platforms. Execute performance testing using JMeter to identify bottlenecks and optimize system scalability. Write, execute, and maintain manual test cases for functional and system integration testing when required. Investigate, log, and track defects, collaborating closely with developers to ensure resolutions. Organize and participate in test plan walkthroughs, prioritize test requirements, and optimize automation strategies. Work closely with DevOps, developers, and product managers to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for faster releases. Gain exposure to testing AI-powered features and products as part of our product innovation journey What We’re Looking For 3–8 years of experience in QA with a solid mix of manual and automation testing skills Proficiency in Selenium with Java or Python, and hands-on experience with BDD tools like Cucumber Strong understanding of manual testing techniques including functional, UI, integration, and exploratory testing Experience with API testing and tools like Postman Exposure to performance testing using JMeter and basic knowledge of APM tools Familiarity with Agile development processes and continuous testing Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and debugging skills Good communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams Why Codewalla?
