Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Senior Software Engineer

with a strong background in

Informatica Administration

, specifically in

MDM-E360

PIM-P360

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

Oracle Database

management and

Unix/Linux systems

. This role involves maintaining and optimizing data integration platforms to support Dell’s enterprise-wide data management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Perform administration, configuration, and support of Informatica MDM-E360 or PIM-P360 environments
Install, upgrade, and maintain Informatica platforms in production and non-production environments
Monitor system performance, tune configurations, and ensure high availability of services
Manage user roles, access control, and security settings within Informatica MDM
Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues within Informatica ecosystem
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and DBAs to ensure seamless platform operation and data integrity
Schedule and monitor ETL processes, performing incident analysis and root cause investigations
Support deployment and version control of mappings, workflows, and services
Create and maintain administrative documentation, SOPs, and maintenance procedures
Provide support for Unix shell scripting tasks for automation and monitoring
Work closely with Oracle DBAs for query tuning, backup/recovery, and data consistency checks

Mandatory Skills

5–8 years of total experience in IT with at least 3–5 years in Informatica MDM Administration (E360 or P360)
Strong experience in Oracle Database environments, including performance tuning and SQL optimization
Proficiency with Unix/Linux command-line tools and shell scripting
Experience with user administration, metadata management, data profiling, and operational monitoring in MDM systems
Familiarity with Informatica services deployment, domain management, and high-availability configurations

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

Experience working in enterprise environments with large-scale data and integration needs
Exposure to DevOps tools for automation and monitoring (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible)
Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure) for Informatica or Oracle
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
ITIL-based incident and change management experience

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
