Job Description

As a Senior Sales Manager at the company, your primary responsibility will be to lead and mentor a team of Account Executives to achieve and surpass sales targets within the retail sector. You will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies, enhancing sales processes, and fostering a culture of high performance within the sales team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives to meet individual and collective sales targets. - Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to penetrate target markets and acquire new retail clients. - Set clear performance expectations, provide regular coaching and feedback, and conduct performance reviews. - Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. - Assist team members in creating and executing account plans and sales strategies for key prospects. - Participate in strategic sales meetings with Account Executives and key prospects. - Develop and deliver sales training programs to enhance the team's product knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise. - Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and optimize the customer journey. - Contribute to the development of sales materials, presentations, and proposals. - Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging retail technologies. - Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management. - Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing sales culture within the team. - Recruit, onboard, and train new Account Executives. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. - 5 years of progressive experience in sales, with a significant portion in selling SaaS solutions to retail businesses. - Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a sales team to achieve and exceed targets. - Strong understanding of the retail industry, its challenges, and opportunities. - Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills. - Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools. - Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes. - Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving team goals. In addition to the qualifications listed above, bonus points will be considered for candidates with experience selling enterprise software solutions to retail organizations, established network of contacts within the retail industry, and experience with sales methodologies and best practices.,
