Job Summary:

Senior Manager – Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the GM – Sales & Marketing in executing sales strategies, customer development, and revenue generation plans.
  • Identify and develop new customers in both

    domestic and export markets

    , particularly in the steel, foundry, and refractory industries.
  • Provide

    technical sales support

    by understanding product applications, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare and present

    product proposals, pricing, and technical solutions

    to clients.
  • Coordinate with production, QA, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain regular interactions with existing customers to ensure high levels of service, resolve issues, and secure repeat business.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and generate sales intelligence reports.
  • Ensure all sales activities are recorded and managed through the company’s

    ERP system

    .
  • Prepare sales MIS, order pipelines, and support in achieving overall sales targets.
  • Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings as required.

Key Requirements:

  • B.Tech / B.E. in

    Metallurgy

    , Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • MBA in Marketing or related field is a strong advantage.
  • 8–12 years of experience

    in technical/industrial sales, with preference given to candidates from the

    ferro alloys or refractory materials

    industry.
  • Strong understanding of metallurgical processes and industrial applications of alloys and related materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a

    customer-first approach

    .
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems for order tracking, reporting, and client management.
  • Ability to travel for domestic and international client interactions as required.

  • Experience in handling tender processes, technical documentation, and negotiation.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work closely with GM Marketing and cross-functional teams.
