About the Role: We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Senior Sales Manager - Government & PSU to spearhead our engagement with various departments of Central Government, State Government and PSU clients. This role is crucial to our growth strategy in the government and PSU space. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for influencer marketing campaigns, navigating procurement cycles, and building long-term partnerships with Government/PSU organisations at the central, and state levels. Primary Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development Develop and implement a strategic plan to win new government (Central/ State) & PSU contracts of Influencer Marketing activity. Identify and qualify new government (central/ state) & PSU tenders, bids, and RFPs through market intelligence and government portals. Own the entire sales cycle — from lead generation to proposal development, bid submission, contract negotiation, and closure. Build, nurture, and grow trusted relationships with senior government/PSU officials, procurement officers, technical committees, and public sector executives. Analyze government policies, schemes, budgets, and development strategies programs to identify their alignment with the company’s offerings of influencer marketing space. Advocate for inclusion in empanelment lists, preferred vendor programs, and long-term rate contracts. Internal Coordination Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to government/ PSU procurement laws and guidelines. Coordinate with product, pricing, and delivery teams to customize offerings that meet government/ PSU specifications. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems, including pipeline tracking, bid status, and client communications. Skills & Qualifications Required: Experience & Knowledge: 2-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales from Government/ PSU, or a similar role, preferably within the media or advertising sector. Strong digital sales acumen with a clear understanding of the online advertising ecosystem. Knowledge of the broader media industry is a significant advantage. A demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Technical & Operational Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for daily operations and reporting. Solid financial and business acumen. Interpersonal & Personal Attributes: Excellent communication (written, oral, and presentation), interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and adapt to a rapidly evolving media landscape. Proactive self-starter with high energy and creativity.
