Job Description

The Senior Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the sales team to achieve revenue goals and ensure customer satisfaction. This position oversees the coordination of sales activities, processes orders, manages client accounts, prepares sales reports, and serves as a liaison between sales, marketing, and operations departments. As a senior team member, the role also includes mentoring junior sales coordinators and improving internal processes to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the day-to-day operations of the sales department.
  • Handle high-level customer inquiries and provide timely follow-up.
  • Manage and maintain key client accounts, ensuring consistent communication and high satisfaction.
  • Assist sales representatives with quotes, proposals, and presentations.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management.
  • Oversee the order processing cycle from quotation to delivery, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Liaise between internal departments (e.g., marketing, logistics, finance) to support sales operations.
  • Train, mentor, and guide junior sales coordinators to ensure team development and cohesion.
  • Maintain CRM systems, ensuring all client data and sales activities are up to date.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve sales coordination processes.
  • Participate in planning and execution of promotional campaigns, trade shows, and client events.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales coordination or sales support roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Leadership qualities with experience in mentoring or managing others.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Industry-specific knowledge (e.g., technology, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals – adjust as needed).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and sales order processing tools.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, trade shows, or client visits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
