What You’ll Do

OTA Revenue Manager

Core Responsibilities

1. Revenue & Rate Strategy

  • Design and implement dynamic pricing strategies for all hotels.
  • Ensure competitive positioning on OTA platforms through rate parity and smart discounting.
  • Monitor daily pick-up trends, booking pace, and adjust rates proactively.

2. OTA Channel Management

  • Manage property listings across OTAs, ensuring accuracy in content, images, and promotions.
  • Maximise visibility on OTAs by leveraging campaigns, sponsored listings, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with OTAs for better positioning and marketing opportunities.

3. Inventory Optimisation

  • Ensure real-time inventory accuracy across all OTAs.
  • Manage overbooking risks by balancing inventory between OTAs, the direct website, and offline channels.
  • Optimise room allocation to achieve 100% occupancy on high-demand days while maintaining rate integrity.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Conduct daily competitor rate analysis and prepare weekly comp-set reports.
  • Track industry demand patterns, city events, and seasonality to forecast occupancy.
  • Recommend packages, add-ons, and upselling strategies based on market demand.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly revenue reports including ADR, RevPAR, and Occupancy.
  • Monitor OTA production reports, cancellation trends, and conversion ratios.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior management.

6. Team Management & Discipline

  • Supervise and guide the OTA executives and the reservation team.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and discipline norms.
  • Conduct training sessions on OTA tools, upselling, and revenue optimisation.

7. Guest Service Alignment

  • Support the reservation and front office teams in handling escalated booking queries.
  • Ensure a smooth guest booking experience across OTAs.

8. Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with OTA market managers.
  • Negotiate better commission structures, visibility boosters, and promotional support.

9. External Participation

  • Attend hotel revenue forums, workshops, and OTA partner events to stay updated on market trends.

Candidate Requirements

  • 4–5 years of proven experience in

    OTA revenue management/hotel distribution / online sales

    .
  • Strong knowledge of OTAs, channel managers, and hotel PMS.
  • Expertise in dynamic pricing, forecasting, and yield management.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet revenue targets.
  • Leadership qualities to guide a sales/revenue team.
