Overview

Cactus Life Sciences is a non-traditional, fully integrated medical communication agency that blends science, technology, and strategic communications to deliver personalized, innovative solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter (Contract) to join our Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) team. This person will be responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment for diverse roles across India, the US, the UK, and Europe. This includes hiring for functions such as Medical Affairs, Medical Communications, Creative, Operations, Technology, and Corporate.

You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle right from sourcing and screening to offer management while ensuring an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.

This is an ideal role for a self-motivated recruiter with strong recruitment agency experience, deep understanding of life sciences or pharma talent, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple geographies and business functions.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, refine job descriptions, and design effective sourcing strategies.
• Identify, engage, and evaluate top talent using multiple sourcing channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and professional networks.
• Manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and maintain accurate data within the ATS.
• Deliver a positive, high-touch candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on hiring metrics, talent market trends, and pipeline progress.
• Contribute to process improvements and employer branding initiatives where applicable.

Qualifications And Prerequisites

• 5+ years of recruitment experience in a recruitment agency or fast-paced consulting environment.
• Proven success recruiting for roles within Life Sciences, Pharma, or Medical Communications industries.
• Experience hiring for specialized roles in Medical Affairs, Medical Education, and related domains is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience with global or cross-regional hiring.
• Proficiency in ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate independently with strong accountability, urgency, and attention to detail.
• A proactive, self-driven attitude who knows how to get things done independently.
