Key Responsibilities:1. Test Design and Development:Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.Identify opportunities for automation and contribute to the automation test framework.2. Test Execution and Reporting:Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure application quality.Report and track bugs in a structured manner using bug-tracking tools.3. Collaboration:Work closely with the development and product teams to understand requirements, specifications, and potential risks.Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.4. Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with industry trends and emerging tools/technologies in automation.Contribute to improving QA processes and testing strategies to enhance efficiency and coverage.5. Documentation:Create and maintain clear and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Key Requirements:Technical Skills:Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals (manual and automation).Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages, such as Java, Python, C#, Type Script or JavaScript.Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, REST-Assured, or equivalent.Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab,GitHub, Bitbucket pipelines) is a plus.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.Fluent EnglishAdditional Requirements:Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Basic knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
