This role is for one of our clients Industry: Technology, Information and Media Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Min Experience: 7 years JobType: full-time About The Role We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Architect to lead the design and execution of our test automation strategies across UI, API, and backend systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in Java-based automation , RPA (Robotic Process Automation) , and full-stack QA , coupled with a passion for building scalable and maintainable test frameworks. You’ll be a key player in shaping the quality culture of our organization and ensuring the reliability and performance of mission-critical applications. Key Responsibilities Architect and implement automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver , and open-source libraries for UI, API, and backend testing. Design and build enterprise-grade RPA workflows to streamline repetitive manual business processes. Drive automation across the software development lifecycle with seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert user stories and technical requirements into robust automated tests. Establish quality benchmarks and continuously enhance test strategy, execution coverage, and reporting. Perform root cause analysis for production and pre-release issues; drive resolutions and preventive measures. Mentor and guide QA engineers across best practices in automation scripting, code reviews, and testing approaches. Define and evolve quality metrics and dashboards to track product stability and automation coverage. Champion Agile principles and support sprint-level planning, estimations, and retrospectives with a QA lens. Skills & Qualifications 7–10 years of experience in test automation architecture , full-stack QA, and RPA implementation. Advanced proficiency in Java-based testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Maven, or Gradle. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for comprehensive UI test automation. Expertise in RPA tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, backend validations, and test automation tools like Postman, REST Assured , or equivalent. Solid command of SQL for data validation and relational database testing. Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr. Deep understanding of modern QA practices including continuous testing, BDD/TDD, and risk-based testing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud testing environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Exposure to performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling). Certification in ISTQB or equivalent is a plus. Familiarity with scripting in Python or JavaScript . Knowledge of BDD tools such as Cucumber or SpecFlow. Show more Show less
