Senior Property Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting for multiple real estate investment funds.
• Oversee invoice processing, accounts payable, and vendor payment management.
• Perform bank and vendor reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports to internal leaders and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Leverage advanced accounting software (Yardi, RealPage, SAP) for financial data management and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor and train junior accountants, fostering continuous professional growth within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in fund/property accounting, with strong exposure to real estate.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Yardi, RealPage, and SAP.
• Strong expertise in accounts payable, invoice processing, and reconciliations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing junior accountants.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with global stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen with a track record of driving process improvements.
