Senior Property Accountant

As a Senior Property Accountant based in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks within the real estate industry. Your role will involve handling financial reporting, budgeting, general ledger maintenance, compliance, property management support, and software utilization. Key Responsibilities: - Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements with accuracy and adherence to industry standards. - Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and forecasts, offering insights for financial planning purposes. - General Ledger Maintenance: Manage the general ledger by handling journal entries and account reconciliations. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards specific to the real estate sector. - Property Management Support: Collaborate with property management teams to provide financial insights and aid in property operations. - Software Utilization: Efficiently utilize US/UK accounting software for managing financial data and generating reports. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Experience: Possess over 5 years of accounting experience in the real estate industry. - Software Skills: Proficiency in US/UK accounting software such as Yardi or Entrata. - Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and produce meaningful reports. - Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all accounting tasks. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
