Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end product design for learner and mentor journeys across dashboards, studio projects, and career workflows.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Learning Designers to define requirements and translate them into seamless user experiences.
• Conduct user research with learners, mentors, and career guides to identify pain points and opportunities.
• Design intuitive flows for cohort management, attendance, assignments, assessments, and job applications.
• Create and maintain Novatr’s design system to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate on AI-enabled product features (recommendations, workflows, automation tools).
• Prototype, test, and iterate solutions based on feedback and data insights.
• Champion accessibility and usability so learners of diverse backgrounds succeed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design (preferably in edtech, SaaS, or consumer products).
• Proficiency in Figma and comfort with design systems.
• Experience designing for complex workflows, dashboards, and multi-user roles (students, mentors, ops, career support).
• Strong understanding of user research methods (interviews, usability testing, surveys).
• Ability to use analytics & learner behavior data to drive design iterations.
• Excellent communication skills to present, defend, and advocate for design decisions.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in edtech platforms, LMS, or cohort-based systems.
• Exposure to AI-driven products and the ability to design around automation and recommendations.
• Understanding of front-end development workflows (HTML/CSS/React) for better handoff.
• Interest in career transformation products and learner success metrics.
