Job Description

As a Senior People Business Partner in Hyderabad (and other remote locations), India, your role will involve establishing trust and partnership with leadership teams, including the site leader for your location. You will collaborate cross-functionally with other People Business Partners to support the overall business strategy. Your local HR knowledge will be crucial in areas such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and manager development. To succeed in this dynamic environment, you must understand business priorities and translate them into impactful HR strategies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Acting as a consultant and counselor to key leaders, incorporating business needs into HR programs - Managing complex employee relations cases, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with employment laws - Providing coaching and leadership development to managers to optimize team performance and create a supportive work environment - Collaborating with other People Business Partners to develop HR programs tailored to the unique needs of the business - Leading efforts in team effectiveness and organizational change, driving process improvements and seamless transitions - Making recommendations to improve and evolve local processes, proactively addressing gaps To qualify for this role, you should have: - 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years supporting Product and Engineering teams in a tech startup - Experience in partnering with executives to align HR strategies with business objectives - Knowledge of HR programs such as performance management and engagement surveys - Familiarity with statutory regulations and compliance requirements - Strong analytical skills to leverage data for decision-making and driving outcomes - Exceptional communication skills to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels - Ability to manage ambiguity, navigate change, and demonstrate resilience - Empathy, vulnerability, and passion for driving business outcomes - Fluency in English and the local language for effective communication - Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to core values - Capability to work independently with limited supervision and occasionally flex work hours to sync with global stakeholders This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting and strategizing with key leaders to drive organizational effectiveness and business success.
