Odoo Specialist

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Development & Management

• Design, customize, and optimize the Odoo e-commerce platform.
• Implement seamless integrations between e-commerce, CRM, inventory, and accounting modules.
• Ensure smooth user journeys, responsive design, and strong site performance.
• Manage product catalog setup, pricing rules, promotions, and checkout flows.

CRM & Business Process Integration

• Configure Odoo CRM to align with business requirements.
• Integrate lead management, sales pipelines, and customer lifecycle automation with e-commerce.
• Build and automate workflows between website, CRM, and back-office functions.

Technical Leadership

• Customize Odoo modules using Python, XML, and QWeb.
• Develop and maintain APIs for third-party integrations (payment gateways, logistics, marketing tools, etc.).
• Ensure scalability, data security, and compliance with best practices.

Support & Optimization

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and manage version upgrades.
• Analyze system performance and implement continuous improvements.
• Train internal users and prepare documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience

  working with Odoo (preferably Odoo 14 or above).
• Candidate should be open to work on US or Canada projects and good command on English language is must
• Strong expertise in

  Odoo E-Commerce & CRM modules

  .
• Solid knowledge of

  Python, PostgreSQL, QWeb, XML, and JavaScript

  .
• Proven track record of implementing and scaling e-commerce platforms on Odoo.
• Experience with

  payment gateway integrations

  (e.g., Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal) and

  shipping/logistics APIs

  .
• Familiarity with

  UI/UX best practices

  for e-commerce.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with business and technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with

  multi-website, multi-currency, and multi-language setups

  .
• Knowledge of

  Odoo.sh / Docker deployments

  .
• Prior experience with US/Canada projects.
• Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
• Prior experience in B2B/B2C industries.



Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Odoo certification will be an added advantage.
