Senior Network Engineer

As an EY Assurance Senior, you will be the main point of contact from GDS for tasks assigned by global client-serving assurance teams. Your role will involve managing day-to-day operations of engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables, and leading a team of associate-level personnel. You will also be responsible for reviewing procedures, maintaining relationships with key counterparts, and implementing EY Quality and Risk Management procedures. Additionally, you will standardize review processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and motivate and lead your team members. Key Responsibilities: - Lead engagements from the GDS front, ensuring timely and high-quality work - Demonstrate a strong understanding of aligned engagements and EY Global Audit Methodology - Develop productive relationships with key EY Global counterparts - Implement EY Quality and Risk Management procedures - Monitor team performance and allocate resources effectively - Establish expectations of value to be delivered to the respective GDS Global teams - Identify opportunities to improve scope of work and standardize review processes - Motivate and lead GDS team members, coach and supervise team members - Conduct timely performance reviews and provide feedback/training Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) - Articleship with other big four or mid-tier accounting firms - ACCA/CPA with 2+ years of relevant work experience - Non-Qualified (B. Com) with 3+ years of relevant work experience in Assurance - 0-2 years post-qualification experience with a) Mid or top-tier accounting firm focused on external or Assurance reviews b) MNC or larger domestic Indian companies, preferably within a Shared Service Environment Skills and Attributes: - Knowledge of Indian accounting and assurance standards or IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP and International review standards - Excellent communication skills - Project management, leadership, coaching, and supervisory skills - Ability to form strong working relationships with colleagues - Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook - Interest in business and commerciality Join EY to be part of a market-leading, multi-disciplinary team in the only integrated global assurance business worldwide.
