Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:
Develop merchandising plans, budgets, and sales forecasts, aligning with business objectives.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer data to identify opportunities.
Product Management:
Oversee product development, from concept to final product, ensuring quality and cost standards.
Coordinate with design, production, and sourcing teams for material sourcing, sampling, and approvals.
Inventory & Operations:
Manage stock levels, forecast demand, and optimize inventory to prevent overstock/stockouts.
Manage logistics, ensuring timely shipment and delivery.
Supplier & Stakeholder Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and buyers.
Data & Performance:
Analyze sales data and product performance to make data-driven decisions.
Prepare costing sheets, order sheets, and performance reports.
Leadership & Mentoring:
Guide and train junior merchandisers and store staff on merchandising techniques.
Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategies.

Core Skills:

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Deep understanding of production, costing, and market trends.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis.
Problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
