Job Description

Purpose of this position  This position aims to oversee and streamline our educational services and operational strategies. This role will focus on enhancing efficiency, optimizing resources, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations that support the educational goals of the Organization. Responsibilities 1. Campus Operations, Maintenance & Facility Management Oversee daily campus operations to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment. Supervise maintenance of buildings, classrooms, labs, utilities (electricity, plumbing), and grounds. Monitor AMC contracts, repairs, and renovation work, ensuring timely and quality execution. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Manage contracts and relationships with service providers, and contractors. Ensure that maintenance protocols exist and are followed for Civil Repair, Electrical, Water Management, Renewable Energy, Rainwater Harvesting, Sewage treatment plant, Firefighting Systems, Waste Management and other Machines 2. Risk & Emergency Management Develop and implement school safety protocols, emergency procedures, and disaster preparedness plans. (e.g., fire drills, IT data recovery). Coordinate with security personnel to ensure safety of students, staff, and property. Ensure functional CCTV, fire safety systems, alarms, and access control systems. Regularly assess risks and mitigate operational hazards on campus. Ensure compliance with local safety and building regulations. 3. Campus Services Oversee transportation, cafeteria, housekeeping, and other campus-based services. Monitor service quality, performance, and adherence to standards. Lead sustainability and environmental initiatives across the campus. 4. IT Support Services Management Oversee the IT team in managing school hardware, software, networks, and systems. Coordinate with academic departments for EdTech tools integration and maintenance. Lead IT infrastructure planning for smart classrooms, computer labs, and administrative systems. 5. Budget & Resource Management Prepare and manage the campus operations budget. Track expenditures and optimize resource utilization without compromising quality. Manage procurement and inventory of facilities-related supplies and equipment. 6. Team Leadership Lead, train, and evaluate staff under campus management (maintenance, transport, housekeeping, etc.). Foster a team-oriented, responsive, and solution-driven work culture. Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews. 7 . Strategic Planning Collaborate with school leadership on infrastructure planning, renovations, and expansions. Provide input on capital improvement projects and long-term campus development. Implement best practices for sustainable and future-ready campus operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred). Prior Experience as Factory Manager with an Engineering degree is preferable Experience: Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the factory operations · Leadership : Proven experience leading and managing teams, with strong people management and mentorship skills. · Communication : Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. · Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within the education industry. · Experience with project management and cross-functional team coordination. · Familiarity with budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation in an educational environment. · Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. · Passion for improving educational outcomes through efficient operations Show more Show less
