Job Description

Role Overview:

Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance



Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and records in Tally/ Zoho software.
  • Handle ledger accounts, record and process all client invoices and ensure timely collections based on credit terms.
  • Review and finalize all accounting entries and support monthly, quarterly, and yearly book closure.
  • Prepare financial statements including P&L, balance sheet with schedules, and support internal and statutory audits.


Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

  • Oversee end-to-end management of accounts receivable and payable.
  • Maintain records of all invoices, bills, and expense reports (inbound and outbound).
  • Conduct bank and vendor reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Supervise day-to-day accounting transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and bank entries.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and collection of outstanding payments as per agreed credit terms, and maintain updated ageing reports.


Cash Flow & Working Capital

  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including inflow/outflow, bank balances, and fund planning.
  • Conduct working capital analysis and provide recommendations for optimization.


Payroll & Statutory Compliance

  • Manage payroll processing and compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, etc.
  • Handle all taxation and statutory payments (TDS, GST, Income Tax, etc.) including statutory reconciliation.
  • Ensure timely filing of returns and coordination with external consultants for ROC filings and other statutory obligations.


Audit & Financial Reporting

  • Liaise with internal and statutory auditors to facilitate audits and ensure timely closure.
  • Prepare MIS reports, monthly financial reports, and comparisons between actual and budgeted costs.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of ledgers, including sales, purchases, current/non-current assets and liabilities.


Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

  • Lead preparation of annual budgets, cost forecasts, and perform variance analysis.
  • Conduct financial due diligence for new business ventures and expansion plans.
  • Provide management with actionable financial insights and recommend cost improvement strategies.


Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure complete compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor timely filing and compliance with relevant statutory & government authorities.
  • Maintain financial discipline and risk mitigation practices across all finance operations.




Qualifications & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
  • Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in Accounts, Taxation, and Financial Planning
  • Post-graduation in Finance or MBA (Finance) is a plus
  • Proficient in Tally ERP, Zoho, and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of Indian statutory laws including TDS, GST, PF, ESIC, and the Companies Act
  • Sound knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, taxation laws, and financial regulations
  • Demonstrated experience in handling audits and finalizing accounts independently
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication, team management, and leadership skills
