About the Role As a Senior Linux Systems Administrator , you'll be part of the engineering backbone of our infrastructure. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a high-performance environment and enjoys mentoring others, automating tasks, and ensuring system reliability and security. In this role, you'll: Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) Configure and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python Implement and manage tools like Ansible, Puppet, Foreman, Terraform, or MAAS Set up and monitor system health using tools like Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, or Nagios Harden systems, manage firewalls, and ensure compliance Work with containers (Docker, Kubernetes), virtualization (VMware, KVM), and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) Collaborate with DevOps and software teams for seamless integration Mentor junior admins and create detailed documentation and reports Must-Have Skills (Day-One Ready) Expert-level knowledge in Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) Strong scripting in Bash, Python (Perl is a plus) Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) Proficiency in monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, Nagios) What Sets You Apart Bonus Experience: Docker & Kubernetes deployments and orchestration MySQL/PostgreSQL administration Agile and DevOps best practices Past leadership/mentoring roles Soft Skills: Patience and clarity while dealing with end-users Strategic thinking and risk assessment for config/system changes Team-first mindset and excellent communication skills Why Join Us?
