Role Overview

on-premises and Azure Cloud environments

Key Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain

  Linux-based systems

  (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) on

  on-premises and Azure Cloud

  environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux servers and ensure minimal downtime.
  
• Continuously test and evaluate new Linux versions and patches across environments.
  
• Ensure compliance with

  security policies, vulnerability assessments, patching, and hardening

  .
• Respond promptly to incidents, investigate root causes, and provide

  temporary and permanent resolutions

  .
• Manage system changes through established

  Change Management processes

  and provide timely status reports.
• Proactively monitor and measure system

  performance and availability

  , taking corrective actions where necessary.
• Perform

  capacity planning

  and provide reports to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop

  automation strategies and deployment processes

  .
• Create and maintain

  scripts and automation tools

  for operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Computer Science / IT / related field

  .

• 8+ years

  of Linux Administration experience (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).

• Certifications

  :
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (

  RHCSA

  )
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (

  RHCE

  )
• VMware Certified Technical Associate – Data Center Virtualization
  
• ITIL Foundation Certified
  
• Strong expertise in

  system troubleshooting, automation, and security compliance

  .
• Experience in

  Azure Cloud administration

  (preferred).
