Senior Linux System Administrator

As a Senior Linux Systems Administrator at Neysa, you will play a crucial role in the engineering backbone of the company's infrastructure. This hands-on position is perfect for individuals who excel in high-performance environments, enjoy mentoring others, automating tasks, and ensuring system reliability and security. - Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers including RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu - Configure and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python - Implement and manage tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Foreman, Terraform, or MAAS - Set up and monitor system health utilizing tools like Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, or Nagios - Harden systems, manage firewalls, and ensure compliance - Work with containers (Docker, Kubernetes), virtualization (VMware, KVM), and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Collaborate with DevOps and software teams to ensure seamless integration - Mentor junior administrators and create detailed documentation and reports - Expert-level knowledge in Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) - Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python (knowledge of Perl is a plus) - Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Firewalls - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD - Proficiency in monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, and Nagios Bonus Experience: - Experience with Docker & Kubernetes deployments and orchestration - Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL administration - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps best practices - Previous experience in leadership/mentoring roles Soft Skills: - Patience and clarity in dealing with end-users - Strategic thinking and risk assessment for configuration/system changes - Team-first mindset with excellent communication skills,
