Senior Laravel Developer (On-site, Patna)

Location: 1st Floor, Hotel Magadhi, Atal Path, Mahesh Nagar, Patna, Bihar

Type: Full-time, Permanent (On-site)

Experience: 4+ years (Senior)

Notice: Immediate to 7–10 days

Relocation: Required (company support available)

About the Role

We’re building enterprise-grade SaaS products that serve high-volume, data-intensive use cases. You’ll lead feature development end-to-end—architecture, code, performance, and reliability—using Laravel with a PostgreSQL multi-tenant backbone on AWS, accelerated by Redis and Kafka.

What You’ll Do

Architect & build scalable Laravel applications (API + UI) with clean, testable code.

Design multi-tenant data models in PostgreSQL (schema/row-level strategies, RLS, partitioning, indexing, query plans).

Optimize performance across app & DB: caching (Redis), queues (Horizon), connection pooling (e.g., PgBouncer), read replicas.

Implement event-driven flows with Kafka (producers/consumers, exactly-once/at-least-once patterns, retry & DLQ).

Ship reliable features: Livewire components, Spatie packages (Permission, Media Library, Activitylog, Laravel-Settings).

Integrate third-party APIs (REST/JSON, OAuth2), build robust webhooks & idempotent endpoints.

Harden security: authN/authZ, RBAC/ABAC, rate limiting, encryption at rest/in transit, OWASP best practices.

Automate quality: CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Bitbucket), static analysis (PHPStan/Psalm), tests (Pest/PHPUnit), code reviews.

Observe & troubleshoot: logs/metrics/traces (e.g., Telescope, Sentry, Prometheus/Grafana/CloudWatch).

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, DevOps; mentor mid/junior devs.

Must-Have Skills

Laravel (4+ yrs) with strong PHP 8.x, OOP, SOLID, design patterns.

PostgreSQL: advanced SQL, query tuning (EXPLAIN/ANALYZE), indexes, partitioning, RLS, multi-tenant strategies.

Enterprise SaaS experience: uptime, SLAs, migrations at scale, backward compatibility, feature flags.

Redis: caching, queues, rate limiting; Laravel Horizon proficiency.

Kafka: topics, partitions, consumer groups, retries, DLQs; event modeling.

Frontend basics: Blade, Livewire, Alpine/Vanilla JS; responsive UI fundamentals.

Spatie ecosystem: especially Permission & Media Library.

API engineering: versioning, pagination, webhooks, idempotency keys, error contracts.

Git workflows (GitHub/Bitbucket), PRs, code reviews.

Strong debugging & performance mindset for large/rich datasets.

Nice-to-Have

AWS: EC2/ECS/EKS, S3, RDS for PostgreSQL, CloudFront, Route 53, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch.

Containers: Docker; basic Kubernetes a plus.

Infra: Terraform or IaC basics.

Observability: OpenTelemetry exposure.

Data pipelines/ETL for big CSV/JSON imports, deduping, backfills.

Security/Compliance exposure (SOC 2/GDPR) and audit logging.

Tools: Blackfire/Xdebug profiling; PgBouncer; pg_stat_statements.

Behavioral Fit
