Job Description

Purpose and Scope:

The purpose of this RFP is to engage a qualified vendor to provide experienced Cisco network and collaboration engineers who can support, maintain, and enhance the Bank’s IT infrastructure, including data and wireless networks.

Scope of Services:

Provide solution design and expert support for complex networking, security, and cloud-native platforms, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Routing and Switching (VLANs, Layer 2/3, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP) and modern SD-WAN architectures.
Security (firewalls, VPNs, WAFs, PAM integration, micro-segmentation, zero-trust).
Design, implement, and support Kubernetes platforms (managed and on-prem), including cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, and DR.
Deploy and manage Service Mesh (e.g., Istio/Linkerd) for secure service-to-service communication, traffic shaping, canary/blue-green releases, and mTLS.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD, Helm/Kustomize) for environment provisioning and application deployments.
Establish Policy-as-Code (Kyverno/OPA) guardrails for compliance, security, and resource governance.
Build and manage observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Tempo, Elastic/Loki) with alerting, SLO tracking, and synthetic probes.
Support end-to-end network and security infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-prem.
Administer day-to-day operations of network, security, and Kubernetes platforms, including monitoring, troubleshooting, scaling, and optimization.
Manage escalations for network, security, and platform services, resolving P1, P2, and P3 incidents.
Advise on new technologies, cloud-native patterns, and best practices to keep systems optimized, resilient, and regulator-compliant.
Provide documentation of architectures, IaC repositories, runbooks/playbooks, and security control matrices.
Participate in IT audits, compliance reviews, and regulator assessments, ensuring traceability and automation of evidence.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of
15 years of professional experience
in cybersecurity & network security
Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise Network security architectures
Specialized in designing and implementing secure architectures for multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI)
Strong knowledge of network security, and compliance frameworks
Must have high valued certification (CCIE, CISSP, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert etc)
Hands-on experience with Network and Security technologies, products, firewalls, VPNs, WAFs, vulnerability assessment, and incident response
Skilled in network monitoring, troubleshooting, administration, and optimization
