As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer at New Age in the Information Technology department based in Mumbai, your primary responsibility is to ensure optimal IT infrastructure performance by overseeing the establishment of network configurations and connections while also focusing on network system security. Your key roles and responsibilities will include: - Evaluating and recommending necessary changes in performance tuning, IT infrastructure design, and monitoring. - Installing, configuring, and maintaining applications within the IT infrastructure. - Developing strategic plans for IT infrastructure and overseeing operational aspects of application execution. - Installing applications for system production and testing, ensuring adherence to best practices. - Creating IT infrastructure related scripts to automate manual tasks and streamline operational activities. - Assessing feedback to measure stakeholder management effectiveness and address highlighted issues. - Providing a framework and environment for application developers and maintenance activities. - Offering guidance and training to project team members on IT infrastructure. - Sharing best practice knowledge within the team. - Fostering a collaborative learning environment with collective ownership of responsibilities. - Ensuring IT infrastructure requests are handled as per agreed procedures. - Conducting technical evaluations, design reviews, and recommending physical and logical designs. - Collaborating with external vendors to efficiently resolve IT infrastructure issues. - Coordinating the review, presentation, and release of IT infrastructure design layouts and documentation. - Facilitating meetings with senior management to address project impediments, resource needs, or task completion delays.
