Job Description

The Senior Human Resources Generalist position at Shingora in Ludhiana requires a professional with over 5 years of experience in Human Resources. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for managing various HR functions, implementing policies, overseeing employee benefits, and ensuring efficient benefits administration. Your primary responsibilities will include sourcing and screening potential candidates through different channels, conducting initial phone screens, scheduling interviews, coordinating the interview process, and conducting background checks and reference verifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for extending job offers, negotiating employment terms, and planning and executing employee onboarding programs such as orientation, welcome kits, and buddy programs. To enhance employee retention, you will conduct engagement surveys, analyze results, implement initiatives to boost employee morale and satisfaction, address employee concerns, and monitor turnover rates to identify areas for improvement. You will also be involved in identifying training needs, developing training programs, conducting training sessions, maintaining training records, and assisting in the development of employee career paths. In terms of performance appraisal, you will assist in creating and implementing appraisal processes, collect and analyze performance data, support managers in conducting performance reviews, track employee performance goals, and prepare performance reports for management review. Additionally, you will provide administrative support by maintaining employee records and HR documentation, staying updated on relevant HR laws and regulations. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.,
