Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise the daily operations of the 

  finishing department

   specifically for 

  technical fabrics

   like 

  FR (Flame Retardant), IFR (Inherently Flame Retardant), Nylon, and Coated fabrics

  .
• Ensure 

  quality consistency

   and 

  performance compliance

   in finishing processes such as 

  heat setting, chemical finishing, coating, calendaring, raising, sueding, and softening

  .
• Coordinate with 

  product development

   and 

  R&D teams

   to trial and finalize finishes for new products and customer-specific requirements.
• Manage manpower, machine maintenance schedules, and material consumption for optimal productivity.
• Maintain 

  documentation

   related to process control, quality checks, production logs, and SOPs.
• Handle customer audits and ensure 

  compliance with technical and safety standards

   .
• Analyze 

  defects

   and work closely with QA to minimize fabric rejections.
• Ensure the correct application of 

  chemical formulations

   and finishing recipes in coordination with chemical vendors.
• Lead 

  continuous improvement initiatives

   for productivity enhancement, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in 

  Textile Engineering or Chemical Processing

  .
• Minimum 

  8 years of hands-on experience

   in 

  technical fabric finishing

  , with 

  deep knowledge of FR, IFR, Nylon, PU/TPU Coated, or Laminated fabrics

  .
• Knowledge of 

  finishing machines

   such as stenters, coating heads, padding mangle, tenter frames, compactors, raising machines, and dryers.
• Familiar with 

  fire-retardant standards and performance fabric certifications

  .
• Strong leadership and team-handling skills with problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in 

  MS Excel, production MIS, and ERP systems

  .
