Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Control

• Lead

  cashflow forecasting

  and

  liquidity planning

  across all entities (India, UK, Germany).
• Monitor

  project profitability

  , client billing cycles, and working capital.
• Support

  cost optimization strategies

  , vendor negotiations, and margin analysis.

Consolidated Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly and quarterly

  consolidated P&L

  , balance sheet, and MIS dashboards for global leadership.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions, including

  transfer pricing

  , and track FX exposures.
• Coordinate financial data from local systems (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.) into a unified reporting format.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Build annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts in alignment with strategic goals.
• Track

  variance vs. budget

  at entity, department, and project level.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to monitor financial performance by service line.

Accounting & Compliance

• Ensure

  day-to-day accounting accuracy

  in India and coordinate with external accountants in the UK and Germany.
• Supervise vendor payments, AR aging, bank reconciliations, and month-end closures.
• Oversee

  statutory compliance

  – India (TDS, GST, PF), UK (PAYE, VAT), Germany (VAT, trade tax).
• Prepare audit packs and assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and board reviews.

Tools & Systems

• Operate and manage cloud accounting tools like

  Xero / QuickBooks / Zoho / Tally

  .
• Propose automation workflows for

  invoicing, expense control, and approvals

  .
• Support integration of finance data with

  project management

  ,

  CRM

  ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice)

Cross-border Coordination

• Liaise with local tax advisors, payroll vendors, and legal consultants in each country.
• Ensure compliance with

  intercompany loan agreements

• Track currency movements and financial exposure across jurisdictions.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in

  Finance, Accounting, or Commerce

  .

• CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance

  preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in

  cross-border finance and accounting

  , ideally in a service-based SME.
• Strong

  cashflow and budgeting skills

  , ability to lead financial planning.
• Proficiency in tools such as

  Excel (pivot tables, formulas)

• Knowledge of

  international tax structures, UK VAT, and German compliance
