DevOps Engineer (3–5 Years)

DevOps Engineer

platform engineering, AI/ML, backend, and product teams

 


Key Responsibilities


Cloud & On-Prem Infrastructure

  • Design, deploy, and manage 

    cloud-native infrastructure

     on AWS and 

    On-Prem

     servers. 
  • Architect 

    highly available, scalable, and secure environments

     for AI workloads 
  • Manage compute-intensive workloads including 

    GPU-based inference pipelines

     

CI/CD & Automation


  • Build and maintain 

    CI/CD pipelines

     for microservices, AI models, and workflows 
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using 

    IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation)

     
  • Implement versioning and rollout strategies for 

    LLMs, workflows, and agents

     

Containerization & Orchestration


  • Deploy and manage applications using 

    Docker & Kubernetes (EKS)

     
  • Handle auto-scaling, rolling deployments, and zero-downtime upgrades 
  • Optimize container performance for 

    real-time AI & video workloads

     

Observability & Reliability

  • Implement 

    monitoring, logging, and alerting

     using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch 
  • Ensure platform reliability with 

    SRE best practices

     
  • Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution 

Security & Compliance


  • Enforce 

    security best practices

     across CI/CD, containers, and cloud 
  • Manage secrets, certificates, IAM roles, and network security 
  • Support vulnerability scanning, audits, and compliance requirements 

Collaboration


  • Work closely with 

    AI/ML teams

     on model deployment and inference optimization 
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve 

    developer productivity

     
  • Support enterprise customer deployments and production rollouts 

Required Skills & Experience

Core Skills


  • 4+ years of hands-on 

    DevOps / Cloud Engineering

     experience 
  • Strong expertise in 

    AWS

     (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers) 
  • Solid experience with 

    Docker & Kubernetes

     
  • Proficiency in 

    CI/CD tools

     (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) 

Platforms & Tools


  • Infrastructure as Code: 

    Terraform / CloudFormation

     
  • Monitoring & Logging: 

    Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch

     
  • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB 
  • Messaging & Streaming: Kafka (or equivalent) 

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting 

    AI/ML or LLM-based platforms

     
  • Knowledge of 

    GPU scheduling and optimization

     
  • Exposure to 

    real-time video streaming or analytics systems

     
  • Experience with 

    multi-tenant SaaS platforms

     
  • Scripting skills (Python / Bash)
