Role Title: Senior Data Visualization & Reporting Solutions Manager

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for leading the delivery and execution of advanced data visualization and reporting solutions at FM. It focuses on translating strategic direction into high-quality, scalable, and actionable reporting products that meet the evolving needs of FM’s business units. This role leads a team of skilled developers and analysts, ensuring timely and effective implementation of dashboards, reports, and data products using tools such as Power BI. The role holder plays a critical role in operationalizing the Data Visualization and Reporting vision and standards, ensuring that all solutions are aligned with FM’s data strategy and business priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver Reporting and Data Visualization Solutions: Lead the execution of reporting and dashboard development using tools such as Power BI. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, manage delivery timelines, and ensure solutions are accurate, scalable, and aligned with FM’s standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to validate outputs and continuously improve delivery processes.
• Team Leadership and Execution Oversight: Manage a team of developers and analysts, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback. Ensure the team delivers high-quality, timely solutions that meet business needs. Foster a collaborative and delivery focused team culture that emphasizes accountability and continuous improvement.
• Operationalize Best Practices and Standards: Implement and enforce best practices for data modeling, report design, and dashboard development as defined by the Power BI Center of Excellence. Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and quality standards across all deliverables.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration and Support: Partner with the Manager of Data Visualization & Reporting and other leaders in Analytics & AI Solutions to ensure alignment between solution delivery and strategic priorities. Support enablement efforts by contributing to reusable assets, templates, and delivery frameworks.

Skill and Experience:

• 11-15 years of experience required to perform essential job functions.
• Additional Experience Qualifier (optional) : 10 years preferred. 5+ years of proven top performance in leading technology or analytics organizations. Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing a highly motivated team.
• Strong technical expertise in developing and delivering enterprise-grade reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI and related tools
• Deep understanding of data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization techniques to ensure scalable and efficient reporting.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver actionable insights through visual storytelling.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a high performing technical team.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics leaders.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and governance in all reporting outputs.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Required: Power BI, Power BI Services, Power Query, DAX, SQL; Preferred: Databricks, R, Python, Purview, Figma, Azure DevOps/GIT, MS Excel
