This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist in India.

In this role, you will transform complex datasets into actionable insights that directly impact business strategies and decisions. You will design, implement, and maintain advanced analytical models and machine learning algorithms, supporting marketing, product, and operational teams. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will own the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from data exploration and feature engineering to model deployment and insight communication. This role offers the opportunity to shape predictive analytics and experimental design practices, influence data-driven decision-making, and drive measurable business growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work remotely while engaging with global teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Accountabilities:
  • Conduct advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to extract actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement predictive models for customer segmentation, churn prediction, lifetime value, and propensity scoring.
  • Design, optimize, and deploy machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze experiments such as A/B tests to evaluate initiative impacts.
  • Clean, preprocess, and engineer features from raw data for model training and analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and data engineering teams to integrate data science solutions.
  • Build robust data transformation pipelines and structured datasets for analytics.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and results to ensure reproducibility and transparency.
  • Research and apply new data science techniques and tools to enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Develop marketing attribution models and translate model outputs into actionable strategies.
  • Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or related technical discipline.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and model development.
  • Strong experience with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
  • Expertise in machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis.
  • Proficient in SQL and database management for data querying and manipulation.
  • Skilled in data wrangling, feature engineering, and data visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn, or BI tools).
  • Solid understanding of experimental design, including A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights clearly.
  • Marketing domain knowledge and business acumen to contextualize analyses.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with Salesforce data and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) is a plus.
