Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Data Analyst / Cost Analyst to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and cost optimization, with a focus on evaluating operational expenses such as fuel, tyre, and AdBlue consumption. This role will be critical in identifying trends, monitoring deviations, and recommending actionable insights to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze cost-related data received from field staff, including fuel, tyre, and AdBlue consumption.
• Track and monitor operational expenses to identify unusual trends, anomalies, or excessive costs.
• Prepare regular dashboards, cost reports, and presentations for management review.
• Collaborate with operations and field teams to validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop models and frameworks to forecast costs and optimize resource utilization.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management for cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, cost analysis, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in analyzing operational or field data (logistics, transportation preferred).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders.
