Senior Content Writer

About the Role:

As the S*enior Editor of OnlineUniversitiess.com, you will lead our content operations for India’s largest university comparison and career guidance platform — featuring 1,000+ universities* and 10,000+ programs.

Your primary goal is to ensure the publication of 50,000+ SEO-optimized words daily across blogs, course pages, and university profiles — all aligned with our editorial, SEO, and academic standards.

This is not just an editing role — it’s a leadership position where you’ll drive content strategy, team efficiency, and brand voice consistency across all digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:1. Editorial Leadership & Content Management

• Oversee a team of content writers, reviewers, and SEO specialists to ensure daily publishing targets (50K+ words/day).
• Define and enforce editorial guidelines, tone, and brand standards for EdTech and university-related content.
• Manage the entire content lifecycle — from topic ideation → draft → review → approval → SEO → publish.
• Approve final versions of all high-traffic or featured pages (university, course, comparison, and blog).

2. SEO & Performance Optimization

• Collaborate closely with the SEO Head to ensure all content meets Google EEAT, on-page SEO, and semantic optimization best practices.
• Monitor keyword rankings, CTR, and indexing reports daily to ensure steady organic growth.
• Conduct weekly SEO audits and plan corrective action for underperforming pages.

3. Team Coordination & Workflow Automation

• Assign daily word-count and topic targets to writers and reviewers using internal dashboards (e.g., Stackby, LSQ, or Google Sheets).
• Implement content scoring metrics — Plagiarism < 3%, Grammarly > 95%, Humanization > 90%.
• Ensure seamless communication between content, SEO, and development teams for faster publishing cycles.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Maintain factual accuracy and data integrity in all university and course pages (affiliation, NAAC, NIRF, eligibility, fee, etc.).
• Follow UGC, AICTE, and NAAC norms for all educational references.
• Uphold content originality, neutrality, and grammatical excellence.

5. Reporting & KPI Monitoring

• Submit daily and weekly reports to the CEO/Head of Operations summarizing:
• Total Words Published
• SEO Score Improvements
• Plagiarism/AI %
• Rework Rate & Team Efficiency
• Participate in content review meetings and continuously optimize editorial workflow.
