Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Senior Content Writer specializing in B2B SaaS, Education and InsurTech. The Senior Content Writer will create high-quality content, define content strategies, perform research, and ensure all written materials are error-free and engaging.
You will own long form and short form content for Bay6.ai and Xemplar Insights, working closely with marketing, product, sales and leadership. This is a hands on writing role for someone who enjoys deep research, structured storytelling, and writing for mature buyers in North America and global markets.
Additionally, the role involves crafting compelling articles, whitepapers, blogs, case studies, and marketing materials tailored to the needs and challenges of enterprise-level clients in the SaaS, Education and InsurTech industries.
Key Responsibilities
Content strategy and planning
- Work with the marketing lead to translate GTM and campaign goals into a clear content plan for Bay6 and Xemplar.
- Own and manage an editorial calendar that aligns with product launches, events, campaigns and sales priorities.
- Identify content angles that differentiate us from generic AI and insurance tech noise.
Content creation: long form
- Write high quality thought leadership articles, blogs and POV pieces on topics such as AI in customer support, predictive modeling, enterprise AI adoption and insurance digital transformation.
- Develop case studies and customer stories that highlight measurable business outcomes, not just features.
- Create whitepapers, guides and reports that educate prospects at different stages of the buying journey.
Content creation: product and performance
- Write and refine website copy, product pages and landing pages for Connect6, Model6, Forge6, Xemplar Auto and Xemplar Engage.
- Draft email sequences, nurture flows and sales enablement content that support outbound and inbound campaigns.
- Support ad copy, social posts and scripts for short videos and webinars when required.
Research and subject matter depth
- Interview founders, product managers, solution consultants and customers to extract real insights, use cases and numbers.
- Research market trends in AI, customer experience, insurance and financial services to keep content current and credible.
- Translate technical detail into simple, confident messaging without oversimplifying or overpromising.
SEO and distribution
- Apply SEO best practices, keyword research and on page optimization for core product and pillar pages.
- Partner with demand generation and social media to ensure every major asset is repurposed into smaller pieces across channels.
- Look for internal linking, topic cluster and content refresh opportunities on an ongoing basis.
Quality, governance and brand voice
- Maintain a consistent voice and narrative across Bay6 and Xemplar, tuned for senior decision makers in insurance, financial services and education.
- Review and edit content produced by freelancers or junior writers, ensuring clarity, accuracy and brand alignment.
- Use AI tools where helpful for research or first drafts, while keeping the final bar for originality, structure and insight firmly in human hands.
Measurement and improvement
- Track performance of key content assets using analytics and basic funnel metrics such as traffic, engagement, leads and assisted pipeline.
- Use data and sales feedback to refine angles, formats and topics over time.
- Proactively propose experiments with new content formats that support revenue and retention goals.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience as a Content Writer or Senior Content Writer in B2B SaaS, enterprise tech or InsurTech.
- Proven experience writing for North American or other global audiences, ideally for mid market or enterprise buyers.
- Strong portfolio that includes long form content (blogs, reports, whitepapers) and conversion focused assets (landing pages, case studies, email sequences).
Writing and thinking
- Exceptional command of written English with the ability to write clean, concise and structured content.
- Ability to understand technical topics such as AI, ML, data pipelines and telematics, and explain them simply without dumbing them down.
- Strong storytelling instincts, with a clear flow from problem to insight to solution backed by proof.
Marketing skills
- Solid understanding of the B2B buyer journey and how content supports awareness, consideration and decision stages.
- Working knowledge of SEO principles, on page optimization and keyword research tools.
- Comfort working with basic analytics tools to understand what content is working and why.
Collaboration
- Experience working closely with demand generation, product marketing and sales to align on messages and priorities.
- Comfortable interviewing busy stakeholders and turning unstructured inputs into clear narratives.
- Ability to handle feedback from senior stakeholders and iterate quickly.
Nice to have
- Experience writing for insurance, financial services or education technology.
- Exposure to customer support, CX or contact center technology.
- Experience in a high growth startup or scale up environment.
- Familiarity with basic design tools or experience briefing designers for social and web creatives.
