Job Description

As a Senior Business Development Engineer at our company in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in expanding our business across the South India region. Your responsibilities will include generating leads, acquiring new clients, and driving business growth through product and service portfolio management. Your strong sales acumen and communication skills will be essential in this role, along with your experience in technical, manufacturing, or supply chain environments. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Generation and Prospecting - Proactively generate leads through various channels such as networking, social media, and references. - Research potential clients" business functions, buying capacities, and buying trends. - Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. - Understand stakeholders" priorities and requirements through discussions and insights. - Business Development & Market Expansion - Drive new business opportunities and establish our presence in South India. - Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activity. - Sales and Contract Negotiations - Generate RFQs for C-parts from new and existing customers. - Negotiate pricing and contract terms aligning with company objectives. - Promotion of Digital Tools and Logistics Solutions - Advocate our digital tools and logistics offerings for client optimization. - Market Development and Trend Analysis - Monitor market developments and adapt strategies for new opportunities. - Internal Collaboration and Reporting - Coordinate with other departments for seamless execution. - Maintain accurate sales data and present reports to senior management. - Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement - Address challenges in acquiring new accounts and find effective solutions. - Promote sustainability by advocating Bufab's sustainable value to clients. - Customer Relationship Management - Track client behavior and ensure long-term relationships through value-driven solutions. Qualifications: - Education: BE in Mechanical, Electronics, Production, or Metallurgy - Desired Skills: - Fluency in Kannada and English, additional languages are a plus - Strong understanding of business development and client engagement - Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills - Familiarity with digital sales tools and CRM software - Proven track record in building client relationships and managing accounts Join us at Bufab and contribute to our values of innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
