The role also involves monitoring progress towards business goals while driving efficiency and effectiveness. The role's focus on ongoing relationship management ensures alignment across commercial and technology partners.

You will be a key member of a multi-functional team involved in all phases of our product lifecycle and responsible for requirements, analysis, and delivery of our products.

In this role you will have the opportunity to enhance your analytical and product management skills working within the market risk technology team in Pune.

You'll be joining a multi-disciplinary team which include Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Testers, SecOps, and Product owners to deliver value through the application of specialist skills. Job Purpose and primary objectives:

You will apply your expertise in business analysis to deliver high-quality, value-adding solutions for our leading energy trading and risk management business. Your strong functional understanding and familiarity with agile methodologies, data analysis, business process mapping, and product will be critical.

Being part of a global multi-functional team, you will play a key role in the analysis and refinement of both functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders throughout the commodity trading lifecycle, applying structured business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Key responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for your area of product delivery, ensuring all activity is aligned with shared strategic direction.
Lead and facilitate ideation and process definition workshops with users at all levels based in dispersed geographical locations.
Own the execution of key controls for the business area and collaborate with other functions to ensure continuous improvement of controls / processes.
Define the systems and data requirements and validate the systems design and processes from functional and technical aspects.
Produce high quality analysis and writing user stories and acceptance criteria to be used by developers, testers, and end-users alike.
Understand system constraints and opportunities to inform design.
Handle cross-team consensus and acceptance of requirements, ensuring relevant sign offs are acquired.
Use data analysis techniques including SQL to make informed decisions and validate solutions backed with qualitative and quantitative data.
Build positive relationships with users and commercial partners.
Work closely with teams in Pune, London, Singapore, Houston, and Chicago.

Primary Skills:

Expectation of five years’ experience planning, implementing, maintaining, and documenting digital products and solutions.
Experience delivering complex products working with geographically remote business partners and teams.
Superb communication skills will be massively important for the role for both stakeholder and delivery of the global market risk team. This includes technical content in business context.
Ability to engage and influence and able to decompose technical considerations that everyone can understand is key.
Experienced agile practitioner who can equally work as part of the squad, or lead on a short-term sprint basis.
Has a curious, exploratory and continuous learning hindsight for themselves and for the people around them.
Thinks holistically about product capability from the delivery and operations.
Excellent organizational skills required to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.
Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment which exhibits ownership of the outcomes of work.
Ability to build, cultivate, and manage relationships with stakeholders across all levels.

Experience:

University degree in economics, finance or engineering subject area.
Proven relevant experience as a business analyst.
Relevant experience in a market risk role from trading companies or banks is preferred.
Knowledge of one or more of ETRM systems would be an advantage.
