Job Purpose
Proactive and detail-oriented project manager with hands-on experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time. Have a strong grasp of project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving results. The candidate should support and act as a key team member of PMO unit for review of functional applications control of application.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Execution & Monitoring – Understand the new requirements, their impact on different modules; along with the dependency of various other third-party systems to deliver quality requirements on time.
- Issue & Incident Management – Oversee the resolution of bugs, outages, and user-reported issues with clear prioritization and timely response.
- Stakeholder Communication – Keep stakeholders informed about system health, planned downtimes, and ongoing improvements, while managing expectations.
- Resource Coordination – Coordination with support staff and technical resources efficiently to handle maintenance tasks, upgrades, and emergency fixes.
- Change Control & Documentation – Implement structured change management processes and maintain up-to-date documentation for all project modifications.
- Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, security protocols, and proactively address potential risks or vulnerabilities.
- Continuous Improvement – Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for optimization and future enhancements.
Key Decisions / Dimensions
- Project Scope Definition – Deciding what’s in and out of scope to avoid scope creep and align with stakeholder expectations.
- Scheduling and Prioritization – Setting timelines, milestones, and task priorities to keep the project on track.
- Risk Management – Identifying, assessing, and deciding how to mitigate or accept risks that could impact the project.
- Change Control – Approving or rejecting changes to scope, or timeline based on impact analysis.
- Go/No-Go Decisions – Making the call on whether to proceed with a phase, launch, or delivery based on readiness and risk factors.
- Conflict Resolution – Navigating team or stakeholder disagreements to maintain momentum and morale.
- Quality Assurance – Deciding on testing strategies, quality benchmarks, and when deliverables meet the required standards.

- Complexity - Understanding the complex IT environment and applying the existing regulations/controls for the same.
- Dependency - Understanding the inter dependency of the systems involved with the project.
- Scope Creep – Preventing project requirements to expand beyond the original plan, to avoid derail the timelines.

- Stakeholder Management – Balancing the expectations and communication needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Time Management & Deadlines – Keeping everything on schedule while managing dependencies and unexpected delays.
- Team Dynamics & Communication – Avoiding misinformation, disinformation or interpersonal conflicts within the team which can lead to inefficiencies and low morale.

Required Qualifications And Experience
BE/B.Tech/MBA with 3-5 years of experience in similar role.
Strong technical knowledge of given domains, ability to stay up to date with latest technologies.
