Key responsibilities Product and business requirements gathering : Work with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, business stakeholders) to gather and document requirements ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy. User journey mapping and product strategy : Create and maintain user journey maps, helping to translate user needs into actionable product features. Data driven product development : Analyze product usage data, customer feedback, and market trends to shape product development and prioritize new features. Process optimization : Identify opportunities for process improvements across teams, ensuring operational efficiencies as well as customer-facing improvements. Execution focus : Lead agile teams through the software lifecycle, ensuring user stories, product backlogs, and sprint goals are well-defined and executed. Project management – Run project governance end to end from requirements, project planning to delivery. End-to-end testing : Define and execute testing strategies, including both technical features and business processes. Post launch optimization and continuous improvement : Monitor product performance post-launch using data analytics. AI and Generative AI enabled innovation: Lead initiatives to integrate AI and Generative AI technologies into product development processes, identifying opportunities where machine learning and AI-driven tools can enhance product functionality, user experiences, and business outcomes. Ensure that AI-powered solutions are aligned with business goals and regulatory considerations. Data handling and data infrastructure design: Choose, gather and curate the data required for AI and ML projects. Design storage and movements within and outside systems. Analyze training data storage and model training based on training data and risks associated with those. Experience and skills required Education and experience : Overall 6-7 years of experience, with at least 3+ years in either a hands-on Product Analyst or Business Analyst role A bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE/BTech) is must and an MBA is preferred. Product and business expertise : Strong experience in managing digital products, data platforms, and business processes, with a proven track record in both product development and process optimization. Exposure to financial industry - Familiarity with financial services, products, and regulatory requirements is a plus. Hands on technology exposure – Technically equipped and the mindset to deep dive inside the technology platforms – both front end, back end and data bases. Advanced analytical skills : Proficiency in data analysis, trend identification, and visualization. Experience with SQL, Python, and BI tools like Power BI. Agile & Scrum Proficiency : Proven experience working within agile environments, managing product backlogs, user stories, and sprints. Comfortable leading scrum ceremonies and working closely with engineering and UX teams. Process Optimization Skills : Adept at optimizing business processes and aligning cross-functional workflows, ensuring that efficiency gains are realized alongside new product features. AI & Generative AI Proficiency : Demonstrated experience working with AI technologies, particularly Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, Claude, etc.), and how these tools can be applied to enhance product functionality, automation. Familiarity with AI model development or integration into product ecosystems is a significant advantage. Must know fundamental algorithms of machine learning and understand prompt engineering parameters.
