Job Title :: Senior Business Analyst

Location :: Bengaluru India (Hybrid - Onsite 2 in a week)

• Requirement Gathering: Engage with business stakeholders to elicit and document requirements related to incidents, requests, and system changes.
• Impact & Data Analysis: Assess downstream impacts of changes, ensuring data integrity and process alignment.
• Clarification & Guidance: Assist L2 an d L3 teams in understanding business needs, policies, and workflows.
• Acceptance Criteria & Testing: Define clear acceptance criteria; support UAT activities and validate fixes.
• Process Documentation: Create and maintain business process models, data dictionaries, and workflows.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring clarity on issues and solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and suggest enhancements t o supp ort agility and quality

Core/Must Have:

• Deep domain knowledge: policy administration and claims processes, terminology, and business rules
• Requirements elicitation and analysis: stakeholder interviews, workshops, story mapping, and business process modeling
• Clear documentation and traceability: well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and mapping to business processes
• Impact analysis and data awareness: ability to identify downstream effects of changes and coordinate data changes (e.g., related tables, data lineage)
• Stakeholder management and communication: work with business owners, L2, L3, and development teams; manage expectations
• Collaboration in Agile: participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and verification of deliverables
• Ability to translate business needs into technical backlog items and acceptance criteria

Primary/Should Have:

• Basic SQL or data literacy to understand data impacts and validate data-related changes
• Documentation and modeling skills (flowcharts, data dictionaries, process maps)
• Risk and control awareness: identify potential controls impacted by changes
• UAT coordination: define test scenarios, assist users in UAT, and obtain formal sign-off

Secondary/Could Have:

• Industry certifications (e.g., IIBA CBAP/CCA) or domain-specific training
• Experience with data quality tools or data governance concepts
• Experience with test planning or test automation support
