Senior Branch Head

Job Responsibilities:

1. Branch Operations Management

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth coordination between departments (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Fabrication, and Administration).
• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor branch performance, productivity, and efficiency through KPIs and regular reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

2. Sales and Business Development

• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans to meet branch revenue goals.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and project terms with customers and vendors.

3. Customer Relationship & Query Resolution

• Act as the primary point of contact for major clients and key accounts.
• Address and resolve customer queries, complaints, and technical issues promptly and effectively.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and service excellence.

4. Marketing & Promotion

• Plan and execute branch-level marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and brand-building activities.
• Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to align local marketing initiatives with overall brand strategy.
• Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify new market trends and opportunities.

5. Engineering & Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure accurate design, estimation, and technical support for piping projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Support the sales and fabrication teams with technical guidance and feasibility assessments.

6. Fabrication & Production Oversight

• Supervise the fabrication team to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality production of piping components.
• Monitor project timelines, material usage, and manpower allocation to optimize resources.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and industry standards in all fabrication processes.

7. Team Leadership & Development

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluation for all departmental teams.
• Foster a positive work culture emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify training needs and support professional development for team members.

8. Financial & Administrative Control

• Manage branch budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting.
• Ensure profitability through cost control, margin improvement, and efficient resource utilization.
• Approve purchase orders, project expenses, and vendor payments as per company policy.

9. Reporting & Coordination

• Submit regular performance, sales, and operational reports to higher management.
• Liaise with head office departments for support functions such as HR, Finance, and Procurement.
• Participate in strategic planning meetings and contribute to company-wide decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in the industrial piping or fabrication industry, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of piping materials, fabrication processes, and project management.
• Proven track record in sales growth and operational efficiency.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
