ROLE OVERVIEW

learning & development, technical leadership, and deployment readiness

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and deliver

  industry-standard training programs

  for bench engineers and new hires.
• Develop structured

  learning pathways

  covering PLCs, DCS, SCADA, utilities, and pharma process automation.
• Conduct

  hands-on labs, simulations, case studies, and mock FAT/SAT exercises

  to simulate real-world deployment.
• Evaluate, mentor, and certify engineers to ensure

  client deployment readiness

  .
• Continuously improve training modules to align with

  emerging automation technologies and client standards

  .
• Serve as the

  internal automation subject matter expert

  , supporting cross-functional teams and client projects.
• Lead troubleshooting, system optimization, and

  automation strategy advisory

  for process and utilities systems.
• Support

  commissioning, FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and regulatory compliance audits

  .
• Collaborate with

  QA, Validation, Engineering, and Production teams

  to ensure adherence to

  GxP, GMP, GAMP 5, and 21 CFR Part 11

  .
• Partner with

  clients, vendors, and OEMs

  to ensure high-quality deployment of trained resources.
• Participate in project scoping, pre-sales engagements, and workforce planning for automation deployments.
• Act as a

  thought leader

  in automation capability building and technical excellence.
• Maintain comprehensive

  training records, SOPs, competency matrices, and performance dashboards

  .
• Develop

  best practices, internal frameworks, and knowledge repositories

  to institutionalize automation excellence.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Deep expertise in

  DeltaV DCS

  (configuration, recipes, graphics)
• PLC programming: Siemens S7-300/400/1200/1500, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix; Schneider/Mitsubishi optional
• SCADA/HMI: WinCC, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware/iFix
• Industrial networks: Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA
• Strong understanding of

  instrumentation, I/O mapping, control logic, and alarms

• Pharma process equipment automation: reactors, granulators, blenders, mixers, filling and packaging lines
• Utilities automation: HVAC, AHU, BMS/EMS, WFI/PW, Clean Steam
• Familiarity with

  GMP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and validation documentation

• Demonstrated ability to

  train, mentor, and develop technical talent

• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
• Ability to manage

  multiple training batches and SME responsibilities simultaneously

• Client-focused, professional, and adaptable to

  fast-paced, consulting environments

QUALIFICATIONS

• BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics
• OEM certifications (DeltaV, Siemens, Allen-Bradley) preferred
• Previous experience in

  consulting, industrial automation services, or MNC pharma projects

  is highly desirable
• Build a

  high-quality, deployment-ready automation bench

  to support client projects
• Serve as a

  technical anchor and thought leader

  within the organization
• Reduce reliance on external consultants through

  internal capability building
