Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role involves preparing financial reports, maintaining general ledger integrity, managing audits, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, and Income Tax.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal audits.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
• Review and approve journal entries, vouchers, and expense reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
• Implement and improve accounting systems and processes.
• Support management in cost control, variance analysis, and financial planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or trading.
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / accounting software.
• Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
